Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis)

Skullcap se ha utilizado ampliamente durante más de 2000 años contra enfermedades inflamatorias de la piel y como agente antibacteriano. También se emplea en el caso de enfermedades como la bronquitis y la fiebre del heno. La ciencia moderna le ha atribuido una serie de efectos beneficiosos: anti-inflamatorios1,2,anti-microbianos3,4y antioxidantes 5. Skullcap también es útil para la regulación del sebo 6.
